Joining the Conseil National Français des Arts Plastiques
Author: Anna Mamchur (Liakhovetska)
Status: CNFAP member (visual arts)
Year: 2026
What this step means to me
2026 began with an important piece of news for me — I was admitted to the Conseil National Français des Arts Plastiques (CNFAP, the French National Council for the Visual Arts).
CNFAP is the French national committee representing France in the International Association of Art (IAA / AIAP, the International Association of Art).
The International Association of Art is a non-governmental organisation working in official partnership with UNESCO and holding consultative status. This connection opens up a broader context within the international professional art community.
For me, this is a natural continuation of my professional development after joining La Maison des Artistes in 2025, and an affirmation of the path I have been building in France since 2022.
Why it matters for my practice
Membership of CNFAP means becoming part of a professional network of artists connected to the international art community. Through its relationship with the International Association of Art, it opens up opportunities for wider cultural exchange, exhibitions and professional initiatives at an international level.
This status also strengthens an artist’s position in France and abroad, bringing together a national professional context and an international visual arts network.
Gratitude and plans
I am grateful to everyone who supports my work and development. In my future work, I plan to focus on new painting series, participation in exhibitions and developing collaborations within the professional art community.
