Other: art without borders

Art does not always fit into frames. It is not always about cities, museums or paintings. Sometimes it is about reflections, technologies, emotions without clear contours. We created this category — “Other” — precisely for such topics.

Here you will find articles that go beyond familiar art sections. These may be thoughts about the role of artificial intelligence in creativity, about inspiration in everyday life, about the challenges a contemporary artist faces. Topics appear here that do not always have unambiguous answers, but certainly deserve discussion.

This is a space for deeper reflection. Sometimes philosophical. Sometimes personal. This is where Anna Mamchur shares what did not make it into the main categories, but touched her, made her pause and look differently. These can be life stories, comments on current events, reactions to new phenomena in art, or an attempt to find balance between creativity and everyday life.

“Other” is a category of open questions. What is originality in the age of copying? Can a machine feel beauty? How does creativity change when everything around is digitised? Why is it so important for artists to be silent at times? We do not impose answers, but invite you to think together.

This section gives room for a broader dialogue. It is open to new topics, experiments, unconventional formats. Texts will appear here that are unlike the others — and that is precisely why they are valuable. Because sometimes in the “other” we find what matters most.

We invite you to explore these boundaries together. True art is not only what we see. It is also what we think, feel and are ready to share.
